About Us, about Ayuda!

More than 9 years ago(in 2002), I met Kyu Kyu aka Kyu Kyu Hlaing in Yangon at English Language School, not at the British Council nor the American Center, but a private basic-standard school led and taught by a Myanmar Teacher who was a Military Attach and served in India for a few years where he earned his master degree in English. I think this meeting at the school with Kyu Kyu could be the beginning of Ayuda Myanmar Travel Tour Agency. We both are not well-off children and could not afford to attend the Expensive Popular English Language Centers charging expensive school fee, but we share the common aim, we must know English to much extend!!

After a few years, I got another degree Diploma in English from YUFL(Sorry I forget to mention my 1st Degree, it is Maths! I am a Mathematician!), and Kyu Kyu got graduated in Zoology. We both were qualified to continue our Master or Doctor degrees in the respective subject, however, we were not destined to perform or fulfill that further education due to the finance and due to the realization that the continuity in education didn’t wet our appetite to find a job with extensive usage of our newly and recently gained skills, that is, four skills of English Language.  We both were wise about the usefulness of English knowing too well also a phrase of Independence father, Aung Sann, that says,  to know the tricks of British, we must firstly know their Language!.

Thus, Kyu Kyu found a job as a Education Consultant, but just a few months she worked and she quit. That job didn’t suit her. And again, she got a position as Tour Operator at a small travel agency, but that lasted just six months due to the bullies of the boss. And after that she picked up a job at a Giant Travel Agency in Myanmar as an Office Secretary and our son was born meanwhile! The job lasted more than a year and she has been an apple of the superiors eyes with her attributes of honesty, innocence, friendliness and helpfulness, and so far she still contacts with her colleagues there, by the way. Of course she loved her job there, however when it comes to the new challenge with Handsome Salary, she insisted to quit in spite of humble requests from the superior to stay at the former job. No doubt that she understood some procedures of travel industry there.

A new challenge that came to her was to be an Office Secretary at one of the INGOs, Medicins Sans Frontiers. She, albeit being appointed as an Office Secretary, mostly had to perform some tourism-related business such as room bookings, flight bookings, and so on for the Expats. She gained not only ample interest in tourism but also the tremendous knowledge on how to handle the things in travel and tour industry neat and tidy. She, of course, after working there for nearly one year, agreed to face another challenge that is running her Own Travel Agency!

Me? My name is Victor aka Win Bo Bo, and I always welcome the foreign visitors, the tourists to show around Myanmar so that they can enjoy the hospitality, friendliness and the smile of Myanmar People by which Myanmar is famous for in addition to the rich culture, nature, history, and many more in Myanmar. With my skills & experience that I have earned under the guidance and trainings of Swiss-German Lady for more than 3 years who run the tourism business since 1994,  I really like to please you, serve you, my dear tourists,  from the landing at the airport where you first lay your feet on the ground of Myanmar until you lift off your feet to bid farewell to us, to Myanmar.

We, me and Kyu Kyu work together in our small office in Yangon, Myanmar, holding a determination that expresses ‘We will offer to our customers the Satisfaction, Precision, Quick & Satisfactory Response, Value for their money & Safety!‘ It is a challenge for us to work with our two sons, but very happy!
