From here, we&#8217;ll begin riding back to Inle Lake with a wonderful descent dropping nearly 2,000 feet to the lake basin. After lunch on the lake, loading our bikes onto our boat, cruising across Inle Lake, passing stilted villages with their unique floating gardens. After reaching shore, we&#8217;ll mount our bikes, riding through lake front villages, pausing at temples, markets and to meet with local families.</p>

<p>After a leisurely breakfast admiring the sun rising over the lake, we&#8217;ll depart by bikes climbing up from the lake on quiet roads for the short but <a href="http://ayudamyanmartravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Cycling-in-Myanmar-on-the-way-to-Kalaw.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1532" title="Cycling in Myanmar on the way to Kalaw" src="http://ayudamyanmartravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Cycling-in-Myanmar-on-the-way-to-Kalaw-300x224.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="224" /></a>challenging climb into the scenic country side to Kalaw, a hill station filled with interesting mix of colonial-era architecture and hill tribe villages. Depending on the time, we can wander through the market or ride around the city looking at the decaying colonial mansions or hoof it on a leisurely hike through the foothills surrounding the town.</p>

The area is rich with a diversity of hill tribes and we will pause to visit some of the villages en route. After we reach Pindaya, strolling the small town&#8217;s sites and Lake Front. Before dinner we will also trek up to visit the famous Pindaya caves, filled with hundreds of Buddha statues. After, we&#8217;ll enjoy the sunset from the hill side over the lake.</p>

<p>The longest travel day of our bike tour goes northwest on a recently-paved, rolling road through mountains and jungle-lined roads to Kyaukse <a href="http://ayudamyanmartravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Cycling-in-Myanmar-Landscape-on-the-way-from-Kalaw-to-Pindaya1.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1535" title="Cycling in Myanmar, Landscape on the way from Kalaw to Pindaya" src="http://ayudamyanmartravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Cycling-in-Myanmar-Landscape-on-the-way-from-Kalaw-to-Pindaya1-300x224.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="224" /></a>where the bus will transfer us the remaining distance &#8220;on the road to Mandalay.&#8221; Mandalay is the historic old capital, but remains the center of Myanmar culture and religion. It is also where traditional arts and crafts are centered. Myanmar abounds with historical sites, cultural memorials and Buddhist monuments and we will explore some of them after arrival. In the evening, enjoy dinner overlooking the Ayeyarwaddy River.</p>

From ancient wooden palaces to massive pagodas to serene monasteries, Mandalay has it all. After breakfast, traveling outside Mandalay to the former royal capital of Amarapura, including an interesting stop at the Mahagandayon Monastery, a school for novice monks. Also visit to U Bein Bridge, a 200 year-old bridge and the longest teak one in the world. In the afternoon, sightseeing in central Mandalay, including Mahamuni Pagoda, gold leaf hammering, Shwe Inbin Monastery; Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned for its stone slabs of the Buddhist scriptures, and panoramic Mandalay Hill, ending the day with a sunset view from the peaceful Sagaing Hill across the Ayeyarwaddy River.</p>

<p>After breakfast, we&#8217;ll transfer out of Mandalay mid-morning by bus to Ondaw. There are several interesting sites to explore on the way to the provincial capital of Monywa including a pagoda with over 300,000 Buddha images and a monumental reclining Buddha. We&#8217;ll also stop to visit a village, meeting with a local family in their home and visiting a local school to meet with children before biking onto to pleasant Monywa.</p>

If there is time, we can visit the market which has a pleasant mix of local and tourist shops before returning for dinner along the river. Dinner will include another Burmese cultural show of dance, athletics and puppetry with excellent photo opportunities.</p>

Kyat Mauk and neighboring island are a group of islands with limestone mountains with cliffs, caves and long white sandy beaches like Koh Phi Phi in Thailand. Dive sites in Kyat Mauk and neighbouring islands are amazing, especially for colorful soft coral and the caves. We will make two fun dives and one night dive in there. We have opportunity to see Blacktip Sharks, Tunas, Snappers, Stingray, Turtle, Rare and beautiful different species nudibranchs and many underwater life.</p>

First dive for that day is in Honor rock, the rock is quite similar with Richelieu rock of Thailand but much bigger. Colorful soft coral and huge seafan forest are the trademark of that rock. We have chance to see Leopard sharks, Reef sharks, Barracuda, Parrat fishes, Snapper and Groupers. After that dive, we will go to Western Rocky Pinnacle, one of the best dive site of Burma. We will make two dives at this pinnacle to be seen Leopard Shark, Gray Reef Shark, Nurse Shark, Eels, Lobsters, Ghost Pipefish, Sea Horse and many different species of Nudibranchs. And then we will come down to Western Rocky, the most famous dive site of Burma(Myanmar) and we will make one dive there.</p>

<li>-Welcome by the team who will lead you to the camp (15mins) walk</li>
<li>-Light refreshment</li>
<li>-Walk (5-7mins) to the river where elephant bathes and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants.</li>
<li>-Exploration of the forest area on elephant back, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around our conservation area. (30-40 min).</li>
<li>-Lunch will be served in the main camp.</li>
<li>-After lunch, you are free to explore the surrounding area with the local trekking guide.</li>
<li>-You are also welcome to join them in planting regional trees from the nursery in  the forest recovery efforts.</li>

Start the sightseeing by mountain bike for warming up: <strong>Botanical Garden</strong>, one of the chains of the Kew Garden in London, which can offer the visitors the ambience of British Colonial Era, <strong>BE falls</strong> to relax, and then drive up to the <strong>Image of Maha Aunt Htoo Kanthar Buddha</strong> on the hill where you can see the surrounding area as a partially panoramic view.Â  You should not miss to take a Tour of Stage Coach to explore the town still filled with the Colonial Houses.</p>

Then visit the <strong>Silk- Weaving workshop</strong>. Here, Amarapura hand-weaving silk Designs are very famous as Lun Yar Kyaw Cheik, More-than-hundred Loom Design, in which many small colorful silk thread looms wave through the weft creating the unique Myanmar Ceremonial silk longyis. Depending on the designs, to finish a longyi with a hundred or so looms, it can take at least a month! Then drive to <strong>U Bein Bridge</strong> believed to be the longest wooden bridge in the world that spans <strong>Taung Thaman Lake</strong>. Take a walk on the bridge and enjoy a photo opp!</p>
<p>And then ride the bike to <strong>Sagaing</strong> crossing over newly-opened bridge paralleling the first British- built Span side by side. Sagaing, the capital city of Sagaing Division, has been quite a few times Royal Capital and now stands as a Buddhist Center. Visit Sagaing Hills filled with Meditation Centers, Monasteries, and Nunneries. The view from the platform of <strong>Sun Oo Punya Shin Pagoda</strong> that takes the overwhelming hilltop is really breath-taking. Then visit <strong>U Min Thoe Sal, 30 Caves Pagoda</strong>.</p>
<p>And then continue to Mingun where the World&#8217;s Biggest Mingun Bell, weighing over 90 Metric Tons that is believed to be the world heaviest hanging bell in the world and <strong>Migun Stupa</strong> unfinished due to the mysterious beliefs of its builder. Then, visit the very first Home for Aged founded purely by a Burmese Lady. Meeting with the long-term nurse who speaks fair English at the Center of Old Age pays a lot. Roads and trails go through the thick pine forest on the Shan Mountains. You will meet the many tribal villagers working on their farms and going to the market of the Kalaw Town on the way. Introduce to themÂ  by the assistance of your local Trekking guide and ask about their daily life. After 3 hours trekking you will arrive at Myint Taik village, Da Nu hill-tribe that belongs to Shan ethnic. You will have the lunch there at one of the tribal villagers&#8217; home. After a rest continue your trekking along the Railway line passing by the some Da Nu tribal villages with the plantations of Sesame, Ginger, Carrots and so on.</p>
<p>You may take a break at the Myin Taik Station to study the daily life of the people who take the train transport and also buy a drink at the century-old train station. In the afternoon, continue your trek until you arrive at Ywa Pu , the Taung Yoe, one of the hill-tribes,  villages of Shan Ethnic Majority.</p>

<p>Today you will start trekking early. Have a traditional breakfast offered by the best chef of the Trekking Tour. Take a break if necessary under the big Bayan Tree(ficus).  After about 3 hours trek, you will arrive at the Paw Kai village of Pa O hill tribe. Pa O people, especially the ladies, wear their traditional dress that consists of black blouse, trousers and most attractively their turbans that they use not only as their head-dress but also the towel when they sweat. Those colorful turbans they put on their head make one of the National Geographic photos. The Pa O villages here are also famous for cultivation of Hot, Red Hot chili, and you may call them Chilli City.</p>
<p>After lunch, you may take a nap at the village&#8217;s typical home, stretching your legs, giving massage each other to the stiff muscules. Then continue your trek passing through the Pa O houses with the chilli drying mats in their house compound. The trail goes through the corn-maize fields, ginger fields, the small rivers and streams till finally you will arrive at the Hti Thein Monastery where you may stay overnight.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Day 3: Hti Thein-Taung Bo Gyi or Than Daung -Inle Lake (Maximum 6 hours trekking)</span></strong></p>

The trails go on the edge of the mountain up to the Pa O villages of Kyauk Su, Nan Yoke where you may visit some village houses.  After nearly 3 hours, you will see the last mountain that flanks the Inle Lake from the western side. That mountain is the hardest part of the trekking forming with the hard rock&#8217;s ascending down up to one of the villages on the western shore of the lake called Taung Bo Gyi. Although the trekking part is difficult, the view from the mountain top is awesome and full of joys.</p>

<p>After breakfast, we continue our explorationof the largest as well as the most complete temple of <strong>Angkor Wat.</strong> This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of <strong>Ta Prohm</strong> is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man&#8217;s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.</p>
<p>We continue drive to the jetty to embark on a long private boat to visit <strong>Tonle Sap Lake</strong>. We spend the rest of the visiting at the &#8220;<strong>Chantiers Ecoles &#8211; Les Artisans d&#8217;Angkor&#8221;</strong> which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carvingand wood sculpting and continue to one of the cityâ€™s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the â€œOld Marketâ€, surrounded by elegant French Colonial colonnades.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Day 3: Siem Reap-Koh Ker-Siem Reap(B) </span></strong></p>
<p>Breakfast at hotel: heading out of town to bring you to <strong>Koh Ker</strong>, situated in the northeast of Siem Reap. Discover the long abandoned temples in the forests of northern Cambodia. Also known as <strong>Chok Gargyar</strong>, it served as the capital of Jayavarman IV (reigned 928-42). His son and successor Harshavarman I moved the capital back to Angkor in 944. There are a remarkable number of religious buildings in the Koh Ker region, considering the short space of time that it was the capital of the empire. There are more than 30 major structures and experts believe there may have been as many as 100 minor sacred buildings in the region. It was also a prolific period for gigantic sculpture and several of the most impressive pieces in the National Museum in Phnom Penh come from Koh Ker, including a huge Garuda (half-man, half-bird creature). Afternoon, continue to visit <strong>Beng Mealea</strong> temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60Kms from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in the approximately 2 hours drive as it takes you through many lively villages and along kilometers of rice paddies. Explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. A further 1 hr drive brings you to Koh Ker, situated in the northeast of Siem Reap. Discover the long abandoned temples in the forests of northern Cambodia.</p>

<p>The two and half hour bus ride take you to the South of Hanoi, besides visiting the <strong>two temples</strong> remembering the two kings of the Vietnamese in the 10<sup>th</sup> century which were built on the basement of the old palace; you will have a two hours boat ride to visit the so-called â€œ<strong>Ha Long Bay on the Land</strong>â€. You will have lunch in a local restaurant with local specialty <strong>Goat Hot Pot</strong>â€. Back to Hanoi in the late afternoon; dinner in local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.</p>

You will have Vietnamese buffet lunch before being transferred to the airport for your departure light home. Farewell and Have a good flight.</p>
